The Catalyst Innovation Lab is a one-day gathering that equips and encourages ministry leaders to pursue bold, Gospel-centered ideas that make disciples and multiply mission throughout the Texas District.

Innovators are invited to submit applications describing ministry initiatives designed to reach new people, strengthen disciple-making, or launch new mission opportunities. A select group is invited to present their ideas at the Lab, where they receive feedback from experienced ministry leaders and have the opportunity to be awarded up to $50,000 in grant funding to help bring their vision to life. More specific grant information is available on the application.

But the Lab is more than a grant competition– it’s a day of collaboration, encouragement, and shared learning. Pastors, church workers, lay leaders, and ministry partners are invited to attend, celebrate new ideas, and discover practical ways God is working through congregations and ministries across the Texas District.

Every project is an opportunity to learn! As initiatives are launched, their successes, challenges, and lessons are documented so other ministries can adapt, improve, and multiply Gospel-centered innovation in their own communities.
