Linda Hagge will retire on March 1 after serving 17 years as treasurer of the Texas District. Hagge, who assumed the role in 2009, modernized the district’s financial operations through updated accounting processes and systems while maintaining a clear connection between financial stewardship and ministry impact.

Among her major accomplishments, Hagge oversaw the financial planning and execution of relocating the district office to Round Rock, including the construction of a new building to serve as the district’s Mission Support Center.

“Linda has been a tremendous blessing to the Texas District,” district President Jon Braunersreuther said. “Her faithful service and financial expertise have strengthened our entire district. We give God thanks for Linda and the foundation she has built through her diligent stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.”

During her tenure, Hagge helped congregations navigate financial management challenges. She developed and led an annual treasurer’s workshop that has become a key resource for congregational leaders across Texas.

The district’s board of directors voted in January to appoint Becca Jones, current executive director of Texas CEF, to succeed Hagge as treasurer while maintaining her CEF leadership role.
