To date, 23 evangelists have completed their training in Area C. Prayers for the groups that will begin this year all over Texas.
Evangelist Deb Woods has been holding weekly bible studies in her home and is at capacity in her apartment. She asks for prayers as the extends it to one of the meeting rooms at the apartment complex. “This is the major prayer request we make currently, asking God to extend our “tent pegs” (Isaiah 54:2). The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (John 4:35). Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth laborers. We don’t need to go to the ends of the earth. We may only need to go to the ends of our streets, neighborhoods, or apartment complexes. You can be a laborer in your field through your prayers. We invite you to join the harvest. God bless you as you prayerfully consider the field our God is sending you to.”
Prayers for Evangelist Mikki Senkarik as she creates a faith community among her art collectors. She has become open in sharing her faith, mixing business and faith – a NO NO in marketing, and it has been well received with supportive replies, with only one person unsubscribing.
Prayers for Evangelist Luis Botello as he begins in May with a weekly bible study in his home in the Northwest Trails. This small community has three very active Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Luis wants to offer the truth from God’s Word, beginning with the Book of John and praying he does not have interference. At 80, age isn’t slowing him down in his evangelist efforts!
Prayers for the 5 Evangelists from Area C (Kara Latimer, Jess Delz, Gideon Baldwin, and Brad and Laura Sanders) who just returned from the Exponential conference and will present The Joy of Sharing Jesus to the LINC South Texas community on April 29th.
