Financial Clerk—Texas District Church Extension Fund

Ministry Position:

Provides administrative and financial support to ensure efficient operations of the organization

Essential Functions:

  • Provides assistance to loan and accounting team
  • Processes loan payments and disbursements in data processing system
  • Assists accounting team with data entry
  • Prepares/reviews written correspondence and memos as requested by loan and investor services team
  • Compiles data, and prepares reports as directed
  • Maintains and files loan documents for loan team
  • Assists the Executive Assistant with Board Agenda and reports
  • Assists other team members with administrative tasks
  • Coordinates mailing of investment receipts
  • Manages data, records, and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of information
  • Assists with mailings
  • Reviews daily ACH entry report
  • Manages Unclaimed property/Returned mail process
  • Coordinates digital files


  • Heart for Ministry
  • Attention to detail, follow up and organization
  • Strong computer skills, especially data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Team player
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently

Experience and Education

3 years’ experience in financial and or bookkeeping position
